Family information deserves clear explanations and careful handling.
Parent consent
Creating a parent account is the consent point for holding family data. VowTask does not ship an analytics SDK in this candidate.
What VowTask stores
The server stores parent email, family names, tasks, completions, optional proof photos, device labels, and messages. Pairing codes are hashed and expire.
Deleting your family account
Request account deletion from Settings. Deleting your account revokes paired devices and removes your family records.
A child’s access
Children do not create accounts. A child device receives a narrowly scoped credential from a parent pairing code.
