Add VowTask to your home screen

Open VowTask like an app from your home screen. Some actions still need an internet connection.

No install button is available here yet. Follow the steps for your browser below, or keep using VowTask on this page.

On iPhone or iPad, follow the Safari steps below.

Browser menus vary by version and language. Look for the installation option below.

Android phone or tablet

  1. Open VowTask in Chrome.
  2. Open the three-dot menu. Choose Install and create shortcut, then Install. Some versions show Install app or Add to Home screen instead.
  3. Complete the browser’s instructions, then open VowTask from your home screen or app list.

iPhone or iPad

  1. Open VowTask in Safari.
  2. Open Share (from the page menu on some iPhones). Choose Add to Home Screen; on iPad, you may need View More first.
  3. Keep Open as Web App enabled if shown, then choose Add. Open VowTask from its home-screen icon.

Computer with Chrome

  1. Open VowTask in Chrome.
  2. Choose the install icon in the address bar, if shown. Or open the three-dot menu, then Cast, save, and share and Install page as app.
  3. Complete the browser’s instructions, then open VowTask from your computer’s app launcher.

You can keep using VowTask in your browser without installing it.

Choose how to use VowTask

This release is the web product: the hosted parent, child, and operator UI plus an installable PWA. Android phone/tablet and Wear OS installers follow as separately verified, release-signed deliveries and appear here only when their own manifest is served. Public store listings are a later phase.

Native iPhone/iPad and independent Apple Watch are phase two. They are not packaged or offered as V1 downloads.

Install, update, and limits

  • Do not install unsigned, debug, simulator-only, expired, or untested files. This page will not label those as installable.
  • Google Play and the public App Store are later phases. Nothing here is a store submission.
  • After install, pair a child device with a one-time parent code. Update by installing a newer signed build. Uninstall removes the local cache; family history stays on the server until deletion.
