Open the file and follow Android’s installation instructions. If Play Protect offers a scan, let it scan the app.
Open VowTask. Sign in as a parent, or connect a child’s device using a parent code.

Watch setup needs a computer

Download the Wear OS installer. Installing it currently requires a computer and the watch’s wireless debugging tools.
Follow the detailed installation instructions below. This is a separate watch app, not the Android phone installer.
Open VowTask on the watch and enter a watch code created from your parent account.

Release information and verification

Wear OS 3+ (API 30+), including compatible Samsung Galaxy Watch4 and newer watches; installation by ADB sideload.

Detailed installer instructions

Enable developer options and wireless debugging on the Wear OS watch.
Connect ADB to the watch and install this Wear OS APK.
Open VowTask and enter a one-time watch pairing code created in the parent app.
For photo tasks, a parent supplies the photo from the phone; the watch receives the resulting status.

On iPhone or iPad, follow the Safari steps below.

Browser menus vary by version and language. Look for the installation option below.

Android phone or tablet

Open VowTask in Chrome.
Open the three-dot menu. Choose Install and create shortcut, then Install. Some versions show Install app or Add to Home screen instead.
Complete the browser’s instructions, then open VowTask from your home screen or app list.

iPhone or iPad

Open VowTask in Safari.
Open Share (from the page menu on some iPhones). Choose Add to Home Screen; on iPad, you may need View More first.
Keep Open as Web App enabled if shown, then choose Add. Open VowTask from its home-screen icon.

Computer with Chrome

Open VowTask in Chrome.
Choose the install icon in the address bar, if shown. Or open the three-dot menu, then Cast, save, and share and Install page as app.
Complete the browser’s instructions, then open VowTask from your computer’s app launcher.

You can keep using VowTask in your browser without installing it.

Native iPhone and iPad — phase two

On iPhone and iPad, use the browser app. Native Apple apps are planned; they are not available yet.

Google Play and the public App Store are later phases. Nothing here is a store submission.

After install, pair a child device with a one-time parent code. Update by installing a newer signed build. Uninstall removes the local cache; family history stays on the server until deletion.
